Lloyd Brothers Wine & Olive Company is a family run wine business producing premium wines and olives from McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills region. The business is vertically integrated across vineyard and winery operations, with sales activity across distribution, wholesaling and cellar door sales.
Please note, this position provides flexible contact hours anticipated to be 15 – 20 hours a week. The role requires the candidate to work on-site at our office in McLaren Vale.
THE POSITION: Accounts / Administrator To be successful you must have advanced knowledge in Xero with the ability to understand digital integration across several software platforms, primarily Lightspeed and Shopify.
You are a self-starter and meticulously organised with hands on experience working closely with management and external accountants.The role includes but not limited to, recording day-to-day financial transactions, including data entry for income and expenses, completing bank and credit card reconciliations, managing accounts payable and receivable, carrying out regular stock on hand reports.Financial reporting in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial records, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.Assist in the preparation and lodgement of the quarterly BAS returns. WET experience preferred.Knowledge and experience of payroll systems, including calculations for Superannuation and Workcover contributions ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and accounting standards. Collaborate closely with the external accounting team to provide support and ensure smooth preparation of financial statements and tax filings. General administration duties as required. MS Office – Excel and word & G-Suite on PC CRITERIA Relevant Financial / Accounting qualifications with strong understanding of financial accounting principals. Excellent verbal communication skills and a confident phone manner. Detail-orientated with a strong commitment to accuracy.Experience in a similar role preferred.
