Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant

4U Bookkeeping is on the lookout for a superstar Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant to join our team based in the Gold Coast. This is a casual part time position with the potential for the right candidate to move to permanent part time by early 2025 and full time by mid to late 2025. This is a remote role, school hours but requires a weekly meeting face to face in the office. Training will be provided.
About us  We are a small boutique bookkeeping practice that value all our clients and pride in giving our clients 5-star service. 
Our clients range from various industries from hospitality, construction and financial service and are based in NSW, QLD and SA. 
Essential Criteria: Experience: At least 3 years bookkeeping experience.Bookkeeping Qualifications Technical Skills: Advanced typing and computer skills; extensive experience with Xero; good working knowledge of other accounting software and add-ons.Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail Able to work independently Key Responsibilities: Bank reconciliation, accounts payable & receivableTimely, accurate, and efficient entry of client data into softwareMonth-end and year-end processing, reconciliations, and data entry of required journalsProcessing/checking purchase orders to match against supplier invoicesReconciling supplier statements Payroll, BAS & IAS preparationBenefits Work from home 3 days a week, days of work are negotiableHours of work is 9am to 2pm Laptop will be provided Join a business that is growing, where you can grow with us and make a difference.
