We are on the lookout for a Bookkeeper or aspiring Accountant to join our team.
All in Accounting are your trusted business advisors. We provide expert professional services to small to medium businesses. Our services include administration, bookkeeping, accounting, business advisory and taxation.
We offer a hybrid work model that combines both on-site and remote working options. You'll enjoy flexible hours, allowing you to shape your workday around your personal schedule, including flexible start/finish times. While this role provides the benefit of remote work, please note that it requires on-site presence at least once a week. Occasional travel to client sites around Victoria is expected.
Hybrid working model (on-site and remote)Minimum 15 hours per week, with flexibility on workdays and timesRemuneration is based on experience, qualifications, and skill levelAbout the Role: You'll gain hands-on experience working with a variety of clients across different industries, with a special focus on those in the thoroughbred racing industry. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Accounts payable and cashflow monitoringAccounts receivable and debtor managementGeneral bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations and general ledger codingProcessing payroll and handling associated tasks (e.g. superannuation and Workcover)Preparation and lodgement of Activity StatementsGeneral office administration, including answering calls and responding to email and postal correspondenceAct as a point of contact for client queries, helping build strong relationshipsContacting the ATO on behalf of clientsIdeal Candidate Requirements: Experience with Xero accounting softwareStrong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience processing payrollExcellent attention to detailStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong multitasking ability and time management, particularly when balancing multiple clientsProactive approach to improving client business processes, including exploring new AI opportunitiesWhat We Offer: Flexible work arrangements with work-life balance supportCompetitive remunerationOngoing training and developmentKnowledge of the Thoroughbred Racing industry is preferred but not essential.
