Progress with purpose at one of Australia's largest health care providers Get ahead with salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive team environment Flexible work hours Bruce Location About the role As part of the Patient Services Department, the Surgical Bookings team plays a crucial role by providing the administrative and operational support between Hospital departments, Doctors clinic, Calvary Public Hospital, The Canberra Hospital and Patients.
Surgical Bookings staff members will be responsible for ensuring an efficient administrative service and operational functions are carried out as per the policies and procedure set out within the team, and to bookings are completed in timely manner.
What to bring: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience in liaising with a wide range of internal and external clients Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of appropriate equipment, legislation, policies and procedures Effective decision making skills Key Responsibilities Demonstrated attention to detail in all aspects of work and ability to prioritise work.
Computer literacy including use of patient administration systems and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements as they apply in a hospital setting.
Ability to process a high-volume workload, to meet deadlines and flexible in approach to work.
Experience working in an office environment with the responsibility of maintaining patient records in paper and electronic formats.
