About The Role We are seeking safety-focused Boilermakers interested in applying for upcoming opportunities with our passionate Fixed Plant Maintenance team, on a shutdown (Dynamic) 182 shift roster flying from Perth.
A Dynamic 182 roster is similar to a shutdown roster made up of 182 shifts a year. Shifts will be dependent on demand, but because you will be a permanent employee, you will still receive consistent fortnightly pay regardless of the amount of shifts you work. The roster is forecasted 3 months in advance, so you are able to plan your life ahead of time.

Key Responsibilities: Inspection, servicing, adjustment, troubleshooting, and repair of the processing plant Ensuring clear communication across team members and to the Supervisor regarding downtime and trouble areas Following specific maintenance strategies and procedures Overriding commitment to BHP Charter, health, safety, environment, and sustainable development Ensuring that all documentation and data entry is accurately completed Maintaining a high-level working knowledge of safety processes About You: Trade Certificate relevant to your skillset is required – Boilermaker/Fabrication Fixed plant maintenance experience desired; adjacent industry experience also considered Experience maintaining Crushers, skirts, pulleys, or gearboxes will be highly regarded Experience in removal and installation of deflectors and chutes also desirable High safety focus Capability in 1SAP or similar maintenance management system desirable Ability to identify defective mechanical components or equipment What is on Offer?
