Job DescriptionMobile Concreting Solutions is an industry leader in the manufacture and supply of construction materials in North-west Australia. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity exists for experienced and motivated Boilermakers and Fitters to join our dynamic team in Pilbara - Karratha, Port Hedland, Tom Price Quarry, and Onslow Quarry.
Boilermaker Requirements:The successful Boilermaker candidates will need to have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, and hold a relevant trade qualification, along with:
Experience repairing quarry fixed and mobile plantProficiency in various welding applications including Arc, Mig, Wire feed, etc.Proficiency in all forms of oxy acetylene cutting and brazingGood understanding of different steel properties/functionsPrepared to travel predominantly within the Pilbara region to service our quarry and concrete operationsStrong understanding and commitment to OH&SAbility to work independentlyExcellent mechanical aptitudeSound problem-solving and decision-making skillsFitter Requirements:The successful Fitter candidates will need to have a minimum of 5 years' experience working on Elevated work platforms, AWP, Boom lift, Scissor Lift, Forklift, telehandler, CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, earth moving vehicles, etc. Duties and responsibilities include:
Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and partsDismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and checking partsPerforming preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on reverse osmosis units, pumps, valves, piping systems, water monitoring equipment, and all auxiliary equipment as requiredComplying with applicable Safety, Environment, Health, and Waste Management policies and proceduresRepairing and replacing worn and defective parts, reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as neededMonitoring and performing preventive maintenance on waste heat recovery system and componentsPerforming machine operations, servicing, and engine overhaulsPerforming scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulationsReassembling engines and parts after being repairedTesting and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performanceDiagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of a computerSalary range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year (commensurate with skills and experience).
