Applications Close 18 Dec. 2024 00:00 (AEST)Employment Full-timeGrange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Boilermaker welder to join our operation in Savage River.Based out of our Mobile Equipment Boilermaker workshop, this position will undertake minor and major repairs to the Mobile Mining Fleet, including Caterpillar Haul Trucks, Graders, D10T Dozers, Hitachi Excavators/Shovels, Sandvik and Atlas Copco drill rigs. Repairs include truck trays, buckets and clams, general fabrication, and breakdown activities.Day to dayIn this role you will be responsible for:Undertaking minor and major repairs on the Mining equipment at Savage River OperationCommunicating with other technical and operational staff on siteAssisting in continuous improvement and process development projects within the Mobile Maintenance teamWho you areTo be successful in this role you have:Pass year 10 and Boilermaker Trade CertificateSound knowledge and understanding of boiler making concepts and principlesBackground in Mining or Mineral processing environmentPrevious relevant work experience could be advantageousWho we areWe're Grange Resources, Australia's oldest and most experienced magnetite producer - combining both mining and pellet production expertise.
