About the Role: We are expanding our workforce and seeking trade-qualified and experienced Boilermaker/Welders to join our Fabrication Team at our Para Hills West site. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant manufacture and repair of Liebherr excavator components.
Skills and Duties:With an immediate start available, along with additional overtime opportunities paid at full penalty rates, you will be required to:
Manufacture and repair mining excavator buckets and attachmentsInterpret technical drawings, FCAW welding, grinding and arc gougingComply with internal OEM and internationally recognized acceptance criteriaOperate plant and mobile equipmentHave a strong commitment to a safe work environment and continuous improvementBe a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a teamDemonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workersExperience with Flux Core and able to demonstrate quality workmanship which meets or exceeds business and customer requirementsRead and interpret technical workshop drawingsExperience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systemsHold a current confined space ticket – highly desirableScissor Lift (Yellow Card) and forklift licenses – highly desirableMust be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testingDiversity and Inclusion:Diversity and inclusion sit at the heart of the Liebherr Group's Core Values.
