Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.
Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tones per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.
Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2.

What's On Offer: 3:1 roster, FIFO to Karratha with direct flight from Brisbane & PerthFly home morning of day 21, paid at ordinary hours - home the same day!RDO is accrued - choose to have it paid during RNR or at the end of your contractFull time, permanent employment (4 weeks of annual leave, 10 days of personal leave)$5.40 per hour site allowance$1.93 per hour trade allowanceSeverance payment of 2 x base hourly rate per week68 hour work week and weekly payIndustry leading camp facility with a lap pool, wet mess, gym and much more!Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a similar position within the construction industry.Experienced in utilising the SMAW welding process.Ability to interpret isometric drawings.Understanding of safe on-site work practices.Cert III in Engineering (Fabrication / Welding).Gas Test Atmosphere.White Card.Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol screening.Additional Information: This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.).
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site. Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices – i.e. wireless headphones, iPads, smart watches - are also not permitted on site.
