Our mission:Serving Society with Superior Quality We are seeking a Boilermaker or Welder 2nd Class to commence as a casual for 3 months with potential to progress to permanent.
Help us in rectifying damage or 'wear and tear' to the wheels of our customers. In particular we are interested if you are experienced and/or accredited in SAW (Submerged Arc Welding) however we can train you.
The Benefits Mon-Fri role,38 hour week with potential overtime availableSmall team within a global businessThe Opportunity Work to best practice & the service standard protocols ofBMSA& our customersDiagnose/Identify & troubleshoot wheel damageEnsure all equipment used on site meets operational requirements & allow work to be carried out in a safe mannerEnsure that every wheel is inspected & complies to BMSA QMS after each process stage of repairEnsure that any work task performed outside the identified Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) be risk assessed & reviewed by an appropriate supervisor prior to commencing work requiredEnsure all required documentation is accurately completedAbout You - Essential Appropriate trade qualifications/experience in welding/heavy fabricationForklift licence (LF) or ability to obtainStrong commitment to safety of yourself & othersFit & able to carry out manual labour requirementsPunctual, reliable & a team player with a can-do attitudeCurrent work rights in AustraliaAbout You - Preferred SAW (Submerged Arc Welding) experience and/or accreditationAdditional qualifications or certificates in such as handling hazardous materials, painting, borer operation, drill operation, grit blasting etcValid drivers licence (HR preferred)Experience in the mining or related industries #J-18808-Ljbffr
