Our Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) in Tomago is expanding, and we're looking for skilled Boilermakers and/or NDT Technicians to join our dynamic team. With our continued growth and future expansion plans, this is an exciting time to come on board.
You'll be reporting to the Workshop Supervisors in our Engines and Power Train divisions, where you'll play a vital role in testing engines, powertrains, and final drive components from a range of large-scale CAT machinery and equipment.

Rosters Option 1: Monday - Friday (50 Hour Week) Roster Pattern: 5D2O x1 5N2O x1Day shift: 05:30-16:00 & Night shift: 16:00-02:30Option 2: Monday - Friday (48 Hour Week) Roster Pattern: 5D2O x1 5N2O x1Roster Pattern: 4D3O x1 4N3O x1Day shift: 04:30-17:00 & Night shift: 15:30-04:00Key Responsibilities Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on various CAT components to ensure quality and safety.Utilise advanced NDT techniques and equipment.Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings while generating reports and recommendations.Conduct light fabrication and welding tasks as needed to support rebuild and repair activities.Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of rebuild projects.Skills and Experience Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MP1 & MP2) is essential.Certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT1 & UT 2) is advantageous.Trade Certification in Fabrication Engineering and/or First-Class welding experience is an advantage.Proven experience in a similar role.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Why Join WesTrac?
