Position Overview B&J Catalano are seeking an enthusiastic, safety-focused and trade qualified Boilermaker Welder to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Our Brunswick Workshop is critical to supporting all our operations across various work sites and project sites. In this integral role you will be responsible for completing preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities Fabricating, repairing, and maintaining fixed & mobile plant equipmentPerforming welding and metal fabrication on earthmoving and haulage equipmentDiagnosing issues and conducting breakdown repairsCarrying out component overhauls and preventative maintenanceWorking in a fast-paced environment to minimize equipment downtimeOccasionally traveling to various sites for on-site repairsTo be successful in this role you will need the following 4+ years of experience in a similar Boilermaker roleMIG & TIG welding experience (desirable)Australian/NZ Trade Certificate in Boiler making/WeldingC Class Driver's License (HR License is a plus)Relevant tickets (Forklift, CN/CV crane, Dogman license, EWP)Unrestricted right to work in AustraliaBenefits of working for B&J Catalano?
