Looking for a LOCAL Boilermaker to commence ASAP in the Mackay Region working on various rosters. Your new company Our client stands as a distinguished industry leader. Their expertise spans fabrication, protective coating, process piping, installation, and various facets of coal mining, terminal maintenance projects, port maintenance, manufacturing, and labour hire. They are currently expanding their team and seeking experienced individuals to join their teams in diverse roles. Your new role Duties & Responsibilities: Welding & Fabricating work Modifications Crack repairs on equipment Operates boom, EWP, scissor lift Repair reclaimer frames, skirt conveyor fabrications and modifications of carbon steel, stainless steel conveyor frame Attend regular toolbox meetings Daily pre-start tools and equipment Daily housekeeping What you'll need to succeed Boilermaker Trade Working at Heights – Desirable Working in Confined Spaces – Desirable Driver's Licence Construction Card (Blue / White) Ability to pass a weld test Ability to pass a D&A Screen Must be living locally in Mackay What you'll get in return If successful in this position, our client can cater to various rosters that suit you – whether that be 5/2, 5/4/4/5, or 4/3.
