Position Overview
B&J Catalano are seeking an enthusiastic, safety-focused and trade qualified Boilermaker Welder to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Our Brunswick Workshop is critical to supporting all our operations across various work sites and project sites.
In this integral role you will be responsible for completing preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricating, repairing, and maintaining fixed & mobile plant equipment Performing welding and metal fabrication on earthmoving and haulage equipment Diagnosing issues and conducting breakdown repairs Carrying out component overhauls and preventative maintenance Working in a fast-paced environment to minimize equipment downtime Occasionally traveling to various sites for on-site repairs To be successful in this role you will need the following
4+ years of experience in a similar Boilermaker role MIG & TIG welding experience (desirable) Australian/NZ Trade Certificate in Boiler making/Welding C Class Driver's License (HR License is a plus) Relevant tickets (Forklift, CN/CV crane, Dogman license, EWP) Unrestricted right to work in Australia Benefits of working for B&J Catalano?
