Join the King of the Hills Mine Project team as an EXPERIENCED Boilermaker who will be responsible for repairing and fabricating metal components of various Surface MOBILE PLANT equipment.
About the roleFIFO from Perth2:1 Nights/Days roster (flying back from Day Shift)7% market uplift bonus - paid quarterly
Project Location: King of the Hills Gold Mine is located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, 28km north of Leonora.
Roles and Responsibilities include: Perform all General Boilermaking duties including the use of: Welding (MIG, TIG, MMAW, FCAW), gouging, cutting, and heating or other duties as specified by your Supervisor and report findings accurately.Access materials/parts required to repair or fabricate the component.Must be able to read from Engineering Drawings and work accurately to plans.Build, repair, and fabricate components for all plant and equipment.About you: Australian recognised Trade Certificate; Cert III in Boilermaking/Welding.Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment, ideally Caterpillar & Hitachi.Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance.Exceptional Boilermaking skills.Previous experience in the mining industry or large scale operations.Physically fit for the demands of the role.Australian Manual Drivers Licence is a MUST.Employee Benefits: Competitive remuneration & rewards.Dedicated lifestyle, financial, and mental health support.Salary sacrifice options for flights, vehicles & airport parking.Access to a wide range of employee discounts with Macmahon's retail, vehicle, insurance, and banking partners.Be More at MacmahonAcross Macmahon's team, you will find positive stories of people embracing opportunities to develop and grow their careers going on to celebrate impressive career milestones that contribute to our success.
