Duties: Workshop welding and fabrication with heavy industrial equipment Ability to read engineering drawings and give attention to detail. Experience with flux-cored arc welding (FCAW or FCA) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW). Good mechanical skills Welding to AS/NZS 1554.1 (AS/NZS 1554.5 would be an advantage) To be successful: Trade Certificate – Boilermaker Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Outstanding attitude and work ethic Commitment to safety protocols and a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. Previous experience in the Steel Industry is highly regarded In return you will be offered the following: $50 per hour + penalty rates Well managed and safe environment Ongoing work, Monday to Friday Please note: A weld test will be required before starting the role.
