About the role Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Steel Processor to join our team based in our steel fabrication facility in Kelso, NSW.
Key Responsibilities Fabricating and welding of structural steel, ensuring compliance with Australian standards Execute daily tasks to meet production output, QA and logistics targets Suggest, take part in and add value to process improvements Report on production output and QA issues to management Ensure that risks are minimised as far as reasonably practicable in your work space Own housekeeping in your production space, keeping this clean and tidy to ensure safe working About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 3 years' boilermaking experience, working with structural steel preferred Ability to read and understand engineering drawings A safety-first attitude / mindset Be reliable, punctual and able to follow directions A team player with strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude Someone who identifies and embraces opportunities for improvement What we offer you A long-term secure position in a business that is growing A supportive and collaborative team environment Competitive hourly rate based on knowledge and experience Inclusion in the Akura Factory Bonus Scheme Interested?
