Role Overview :
As a Boilermaker, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and assembly of components for our trailers and 4x4 accessories. This position requires expertise in metalwork, welding, and the ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints. You will work closely with our production and engineering teams to ensure each product meets our rigorous quality standards, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Fabrication : Use MIG/TIG welding, cutting, and metalworking skills to fabricate metal components for trailers, canopies, and other products. Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to create accurate, high-quality components. Assembly : Participate in the assembly process, ensuring all components are securely and precisely constructed. Quality Control : Inspect finished products to verify they meet company standards for durability, quality, and technical accuracy. Collaboration : Work alongside the Foreman and other production staff to complete tasks efficiently and support team targets. Safety Compliance : Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote a safe manufacturing environment. Process Improvement : Contribute ideas for process enhancements to improve productivity and product quality. Qualifications :
Experience : Qualified Boilermaker with a minimum of 3 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication, ideally in a manufacturing or automotive setting. Technical Skills : Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and operation of metalworking tools and machinery. Blueprint Reading : Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Attention to Detail : Strong eye for detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, precision-built products. Team Player : Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to work effectively within a production team. Safety-Minded : Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
