Right now, we are seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our team based in our Burnie workshop.

ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you will support the wider Product Support Parts & Service team. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for all colleagues and ensuring customer satisfaction and value for money.
What a day typical day will look like: Heavy fabrication and welding workWelding with Flux cored wireWorking with Bisalloy and cast steelsStraightening of heavy componentsService reporting - job completion paperworkNew product manufacturingGeneral workshop duties, as well as technical guidance and supportABOUT YOU You are a trade qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator with a great attitude and work ethic, and you pride yourself on high quality work and attention to detail.
To be successful in this role you will require the following skills, experience and attributes: Place a high importance and focus on safetyBe driven with a willingness to coach and mentor apprenticesHave experience within the heavy machinery industry (ideal)Hold a current forklift licenseAbility to work unsupervised on site as requiredWhy work for us?
