We are looking for a qualified and experienced Boilermaker to join our team in Penrith, NSW .
This role offers a combination of workshop and site-based work, including fabrication and welding of stillages and various project tasks.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel, and contribute to the completion of high-quality, precision metalwork.
Key Responsibilities: Fabricate and assemble metal structures, stillages, and other components for site-based and workshop projects.
Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel materials.
Read and interpret manufacturing engineering drawings to ensure precise fabrication and welding work.
Conduct structural welding for various applications including TMIG and TIG .
Maintain a high standard of safety and quality control while working on-site and in the workshop.
Requirements Cert III in Fabrication/Boilermaking or equivalent.
Proven experience in boilermaking and metal fabrication .
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings .
Experience in TIG and MIG welding (aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel).
Weld tickets preferred but not mandatory.
Own transport required to travel to the work site.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits: $42-48 per hour depending on experience.
$26 daily travel allowance on site-based workdays.
Overtime opportunities available.
Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm .
