CJD are seeking a BoilerMaker / Fabricator to join our talented new vehicle preparation team in Darwin, working on Kenworth, Isuzu and DAF trucks as well as Volvo construction equipment.

What you will do: Installation of interior and exterior components for new trucks and construction equipment pre-delivery fit upsFabricate and assemble components for new truck builds with precision and careWork with a variety of materials, including steel and aluminium to create custom solutionsAbility to visualize and manufacture components for accessory fitting on trucks and construction equipment without the aid of technical drawingsCollaborate with a team of skilled professionals to ensure high quality workmanshipMaintain a safe, organized workspace and adhere to workplace safety standardsProvide own basic hand tools and equipment fit for job purpose.What we're looking for: Trade qualifications as a Boilermaker or Fabricator (preferred but not essential)Proven experience in fabrication, welding and assembly (truck or automotive experience is a plus)Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)Willingness to learn the mechanical aspects involved in trucks and construction equipment fit outsA proactive attitude with excellent attention to detailCommitment to workplace safety and quality standards.What's in it for you?
