The successful candidates will possess high attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and a passion for continuous improvement.Skills / Experience:Extensive experience in the Lamination IndustryExperience in Resin Infusion processes & implementing advanced composite technologiesExtensive experience in operating a Gelcoater and/or Chopper GunExtensive experience in gelcoat repairs, sanding, buffing and polishingExperience in all aspects of detailing and buffingExcellent hand tool skills and machinery experienceDemonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines and meet targetsFlexibility to move within lamination areas and multi-taskDemonstrated ability to communicate and work well within a team environmentStrong eye for detail with a focus on accuracy and quality first timeSelf-motivated, with a positive attitude, and pride in workmanshipResponsibilities:Lamination: Open MouldingRead and interpret drawingsPrepare moulds, including applying release agentsGelcoat taping and assembling additional parts and preparing mouldsLaminate fiberglass components to a lamination schedule (flybridges, hardtops, hulls, decks and small parts)Perform in-line inspections to minimize quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voidsInstall structural materials such as wood, aluminum flat bar, foam and core matHandle hazardous chemicals such as catalyst, resin, gel coat and structural adhesives while maintaining the shed in a clean and tidy manner, including organizing tools and materials to avoid any safety issuesLamination: Closed MouldingRead and interpret drawingsMould care, prep, upkeep and repair activitiesInspect, clean and assemble mouldsLaminate fiberglass components to a lamination schedule (flybridges, hardtops, and small parts)Pack pre-cut digital kitted composite fabrics into mouldsInstall vacuums and feed lines, and apply vacuum bagsDe-mould partsPerform in-line inspections to minimize quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voidsPlease include a Cover Letter and CV outlining your experience and suitability.
