Our remote services are in some of Australia's most hard to reach, underserviced locations.

The Manager will lead a team to support the physical, emotional and spiritual development of the girls under their care.
The Manager will be responsible overseeing the planning and supervision of students including a culturally appropriate after-school recreation program, as well as providing guidance and support to staff.Operate the Hostel as a 24/7 serviceConduct and oversee community consultation to develop a service model that will reflect the voice and needs of the communityProvide secure accommodation for school aged girls and women and accompanying children from all families/Clans as per service delivery modelWork with Indigenous staff in developing training and/or safety plans for trainees and children returning including, where appropriate, to link with members of the community and organisations that can provide after support to women and childrenTo be a supportive member of One Tree team based in WadeyeWork cooperatively and with clear professional boundariesSelection criteriaWell-developed verbal and written communication skills to ensure information is conveyed clearly and accurately and enable the preparation of accurate, concise documents and reportsComputer skills, use of Excel and WordEffective administration, time management and organisation skillsExperience in customer service requiring efficient service deliveryEvidence of problem-solving skillsExperience managing a Boarding Facility or similarExperience working in remote Indigenous communities is desirableHigh cultural intelligenceExperience managing, supporting and mentoring a teamRequirements and QualificationsEligible to work in AustraliaA clear NT Working with Children CheckSatisfactory National Police ClearanceVocational or tertiary qualifications in community services, training and/or AboriginalityNorthern Land Council permitFirst Aid & CPR certificatesA valid manual driver's licenceHow to applySubmit your updated CV and cover letter outlining your suitability for the roleClick on the "Apply" button For more information or to request a copy of the position description, call or email us on or Tree Community Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer supporting diversity in the workplace and Indigenous applicants are encouraged to apply.Are you a strong and resilient leader with the skills to manage a hostel in a remote NT community?#J-18808-Ljbffr
