We have a rare and exciting role available for a Board and Investor Relations Assistant to join our Legal Team at our Cremorne Office, Melbourne.
This is an exciting opportunity reporting to our Group COO and CFO and Group General Counsel and Co Company Secretary.
This role will be part time, 3 days a week.
About the Role This role involves providing administrative and logistical support to the Board of Directors, ensuring efficient communication, compliance with governance practices, and smooth operation of board activities.
You will be organizing meetings, preparing materials, maintaining records, and acting as a liaison between the board and executive leadership.
In addition, you will coordinate investor relations activities including meetings, conferences, investor information, and half and full year results roadshows.
You will also provide administration support to the CFO and Group General Counsel with day-to-day activities.
The key responsibilities will include the following: Board Support & Administration: Coordinate and schedule Board meetings, including assisting with preparing annual calendars, agendas, gathering materials, and distributing documents (as required).Manage Board member communications, including sending reminders, updates, and relevant documents.Track Board member attendance, ensuring all members are informed and prepared for meetings.Governance & Compliance: Assist in the preparation of governance-related documents, including annual reports, notice of meeting, policies, and bylaws.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to Board and Company governance.Coordinate Board orientation and onboarding for new members, ensuring they have the necessary information and resources to succeed in their roles.Assist with Company administration – including company annual renewals, changes in directorship, updating details, etc.Logistical Coordination: Arrange logistics for Board meetings, including booking venues/meeting rooms (if in-person), coordinating virtual meetings, and organizing refreshments.Manage any associated travel or accommodations for Board members.Assist with organizing Board-related dinners or other events.Organize and support AGM and other special events or committees as needed.Investor Relations Coordination: Assist in organizing investor events such as earnings calls, investor conferences, and roadshows, including logistics, scheduling, and meeting coordination.Monitor and manage the investor relations email inbox.Receive and collate all analyst reports.Update the Accent Investor website as required.Administration Support to Group General Counsel and Co Company Secretary: Manage the Group General Counsel's calendar including scheduling meetings and appointments, ensuring proper time management.Arrange travel, including flights, accommodations, and transportation as required.
Prepare itineraries and provide detailed travel information.Support day-to-day activities or requests.Assist with invoice processing.To be successful you will ideally have the following: 3-5 years previous experience working with boards and handling company administration.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and scheduling tools (Outlook).Strong communication skills both written and verbal.Excellent attention to detail including accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.Must be organized with strong time management skills.Highly dynamic and adaptable work ethic.Collaborative and strong interpersonal skills.Able to be dependable, follow instructions, and respond to management direction.Affiliation with Accent Group core values and a Make it Happen attitude.At Accent Group Limited we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and inclusion.
