The RoleWe are seeking a BMS Service Technician to join our Sydney team to assist with Building Automation service and maintenance works.
Your purpose will be to respond to Airmasters customers' requirements as directed, for the Automation and Controls business, and provide on and off-site technical support, carry out maintenance and repairs as required, and to also provide training to apprentices.
With a background in HVAC, BMS service and maintenance experience, your core responsibilities will be to service, fault find, repair and maintain BMS and lighting installations. Product knowledge and experience with Tridium Niagara or Distech is highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will possess/provide the following:
Experience with controls - DDC and BMS and a strong knowledge of building mechanical servicesDeliver BMS services on time and within budget for controls related works and to meet the expectation of the clientIntermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel and office-based databasesAbility to provide technical advice and support to Technicians and Apprentices, including high-level troubleshooting on sites, to other team membersAbility to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, standards and plant operating instructionsAbility to work unsupervised and in a team environmentReliable, self-motivated and well presentedClear verbal and written communication skills, with a pleasant phone mannerProvide sales support and develop opportunities for further work on customers sitesSupport operatives in building strong client relationships based on trust and respectStrong commitment to safe work practices is essentialWilling to undergo a national police background checkA flu vaccination and Covid-19 vaccination also requiredBenefits of Working with AirmasterThe successful candidate will enjoy the benefits of working with a high performing and progressive company who enjoy an enviable reputation in the industry.
