Based in Canberra, we are looking for a Service Technician to join our team to support our BMS and Security offerings provided throughout ACT and the surrounding region. We currently service sites within the following industries:
DatacentresTelecommunicationDefenceLocal and federal government occupied buildingsUniversitiesHealth careRetailWhilst not essential, this role will be perfect for someone that has prior BMS experience. However, all applicants that meet the below criteria will be considered and all training requirements will be provided.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performing Preventative and Reactive Maintenance on Building Management and Power Monitoring SystemsResponding to system breakdowns and faultsLiaising directly with colleagues, customers and customer representativesProviding customers with suggestions for system improvements, enhancements, and optimisation opportunitiesPracticing a high degree of safety awareness, to ensure safety requirements are always metParticipate in a rotating on-call rosterPotential after hours and weekend work from time to time to meet specific customer requirementsRegional travel, including overnight stays as required by customerAssisting the projects team with onsite commissioning and testingWho are you? There is additionally an opportunity over time to be cross trained across all of Schneider products including, but not limited to, security, UPS's, power metering and energy monitoring. Exposure to Security would be highly advantageous but not essential.
