Over 35 years, we have carried out more than 200 MEP contracting projects, in a total area of over 13 million m2 in three continents and 14 countries.Responsibilities:Managing the subcontractor to ensure the works are completed in line with the project documentation.Reviewing the shop drawings and coordinating with other departments to ensure full functionality of the system.Coordinating the material flow as per site schedule.Supervising installation of BMS hardware and software ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.Supervising system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshooting and resolving issues during the commissioning phase.Coordinating project documentation, including as-built drawings and operation manuals.Working closely with construction manager, contractors, and other related departments as well as attending project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and prepare required reports.Ensuring all BMS installations comply with relevant health and safety regulations and staying updated on changes in building codes and BMS technologies.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related discipline.Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) would be preferable.Membership in professional bodies such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) or the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) would be preferable.Understanding of HVAC systems, lighting controls, and energy management systems.Previous experience of 5-8 years in building management systems.Experience working on construction sites and understanding site safety practices.Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.Please send your CV to ****** or text your name and job ref: BMS Engineer - Deeside.
