With depots across Brisbane, Tully and Far North Queensland, Blenners are the nationally trusted and respected refrigerated transport solution, working with leading retailers and well-known and reputable brands Australia-wide, with a strong emphasis on their customers and their team.
We are currently seeking applications for a Full Time Payroll Specialist based in our Head Office in Tully.
Key responsibilities/accountabilities: End to end processing of weekly payroll. Updating and maintaining payroll records. Liaising with staff on payroll related queries. Prepare and review daily payroll reports. Review, edit and import face scanner timesheets into Meridian. Prepare and lodge various reports according to accounting and legislative requirements. Calculate and process payroll adjustments, terminations and complete ad-hoc payments. Interpret employment contracts, policies, awards and relevant Fair Work provisions. Ensure employee records such as deductions, leave entitlements, severance are kept accurate and up to date. Skills and experience: Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Intermediate or above Microsoft Excel skills (must include formulas and report formatting). Modern award knowledge will be highly regarded.
