Bulga open cut is seeking a Blast Supervisor to lead an established and high performing blast team to safely and efficiently execute support activities to achieve the mine plan.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supervise, instruct and monitor team members involved in daily blasting activities Lead by example by providing visible and credible direction to achieve a safe and efficient outcome Identify and communicate risks associated with health, safety, and environmental impacts Oversee people management issues in area of responsibility including development of your team Contribute to planning and allocation of resources within area of responsibility About you:
You have an extensive understanding of Drill and Blast processes with strong leadership & interpersonal skills.
You will also have the following skills & experience:
NSW OCE and/or Blasting Explosives Users Licence -Highly desirable Previous experience in a leadership role - Highly desirable Strong technical knowledge of Drill and Blast including through seam blasting High commitment to safety, hazard awareness and risk management Ability to build and foster strong working relationships across multiple departments and organisational levels What we offer: An attractive remuneration package including short-term performance-based bonuses.
