THE ROLE Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking FIFO Blast & Paint Supervisors to join our team.
You will be responsible for:
Supervising works to ensure all is completed to the client and company specificationsLeading a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverablesLiaising with clients and site-based personnelPlanning and scheduling work and labour requirementsMonitoring progress against the work scheduleRecord and monitor team members performance, provide mentorship and address issues where necessaryIncident investigation and reportingSupervise and conduct visual inspections of work to ensure it meets required standards and client specifications (QA/QC).Ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience as Leading Hand or SupervisorCertificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating ApplicationCoatings inspector NACE Level 1 is desirableFamiliar with abrasive blasting and painting QA/QC processSchedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training (or Section 44 with aim to complete S26)BHP & Rio inductions are desirable but not essential.A strong commitment to health and safetyThe ability to communicate effectively across all facets of the business verbally and in writingA current Australian Drivers Licence IN RETURN You will be joining an existing team who will provide you with the onboarding and support to create a successful Linkforce career.
