Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine and Commercial Industries.
As a result of the company's continued growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for suitably qualified and experienced Blast and Paint Supervisor / QC to join our Henderson Workshop and Site based teams.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Project Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise our excellent team of skilled and trained Blast and Painters within our Perth Workshop and Site based Operations.
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following essential experience:
Experience in Supervising Site Operations and Workshops
Ability to conduct QA inspections and testing as per ITP
Previous experience running teams, managing individuals and communicating between different trades
Estimation knowledge and experience would be highly desired but not essential.
Ability to create, revise and/or submit documentation such as coating reports, ITP's, JSEA's etc.
The demonstrated ability to ensure that quality work is completed safely, on time and within budget
Reliability in planning, reporting, communicating and ensuring compliance with internal and legislative commitments and obligations
The demonstrated ability to lead in the area of Health and Safety
Experience with 2-pack paints
