About the job We're seeking multiple Blade Technicians to join our Worley Power Services Wind Farm team casual pool for the upcoming blade repair season.

What you'll do Conduct thorough visual inspections of wind turbine blades to identify and assess any damage, wear, or structural issues.
Utilise rope access techniques to reach and navigate the entire surface of the blade, ensuring a comprehensive examination.
Execute maintenance tasks on blades, including cleaning, painting, and repairing damaged areas.
Perform minor and major repairs on the surface and structural components of the blades using appropriate tools and techniques.
Replace or upgrade components as needed to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Conduct pre-job safety assessments and equipment checks before commencing any work.
Work closely with other technicians, maintenance crews, and project managers to coordinate blade maintenance schedules and prioritise tasks.
Provide technical expertise and insights to enhance overall turbine performance.
What you'll bring Previous experience as a Blade Rope Access Technician or similar role in the renewable energy industry.
Industry specific experience as a rope access technician, composite repairs, etc.
Certification in rope access techniques - IRATA qualification and Certification in GWO Basic Safety Training and Blade Repair Training.
High HSE focus and capability related to wind energy operations.
Willingness to travel for long periods of time, often in remote locations.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
