So it is fair to say the future is bright!Reporting to a dynamic and driven Regional Service Manager, you will be given responsibility for leading the Blade Repair Service stream within the business, as such be a key member of this new team, establishing and driving a positive culture.As my client is very clear on what they require, let me spell out what I am looking for in this business-critical role:You will be an experienced and respected Blade Service Technician who is currently in a supervisory or management role.Someone who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained on large-scale blade service projects to the table.Key focus for the role is to develop the Blade Service stream in the Service division, actively identifying and closing business opportunities, whilst developing a high-performing team in line with the growth trajectory. You apply strong commercial acumen, operational knowledge, including regulations, safety standards, and best practices to effectively manage and minimize contractual risk. This will be reinforced by a hands-on approach, driving success through the execution of strategies that align to business goals.Success to a large part will be propelled by your very strong and effective communication abilities, developing strong relationships with relevant clients, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively, understand their requirements, tailoring proposals to meet their needs, plus proactively presenting preventative solutions. Equally, working with internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive review of client requirements undertaken will be critical. You will be driven by a strong attention to detail, organized and analytical, enabling you to make sound well-founded decisions. I will also be looking for an individual who possesses a mature approach being able to manage multiple competing tasks, working to deadlines, whilst being a calming force to provide clear direction in pressure situations.It is expected you will be from the composite service engineering sectors with a senior service maintenance background (3 years plus). I will be looking for relevant tertiary qualifications in composite, fibre engineering or Trade Qualifications, with further Post Graduate studies being well regarded.
