Cybersecurity Analyst - Macquarie Park, NSW In this role, you will be supporting with the identification of threats and vulnerabilities across Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety businesses (Blackwoods, Bullivants, Cm3, Coregas & Workwear Group), while implementing technical solutions for cyber-defence. Additionally, you will also be responsible for responding to and managing security threats through the SOC.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based onsite in Macquarie Park. Some of the tasks of the role: Support with vulnerability management across Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety (WIS) Be responsible for the identification of undetected threats enterprise wide Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage security operations centre and improve threat detection Act as the SME for mail security Lead investigations of security incidents adhering to process and recommend corrective actions Act with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance response capabilities Some of the skills required: 3+ years' experience in an incident response/cybersecurity role Knowledge of information security frameworks Understanding of technology infrastructures (e.g., Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS etc.) Strong knowledge of mail security, DNS, and certificate management Exposure to vulnerability compliance, patch management, anti-malware and control management toolsets Experience with Microsoft Security and endpoint detection and response tools Working knowledge of SIEM platforms in logging and event management Skills and exposure to Threat Hunting Techniques and Tools What's in it for you: Have a direct impact on the future of WIS and its brands Support with the uplift and enhancement of cybersecurity policy and compliance Access to Wesfarmers' retail and corporate discounts Salary package inclusive of incentives Work from home hybrid working opportunities Subsidised parking available Next Steps If you meet most of the criteria listed above and would like to be considered for this opportunity, please send your application today.
