About Birrang: Birrang is a leading provider of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan management services. We are dedicated to assisting individuals with disabilities in managing their NDIS plans effectively, ensuring they receive the support and services they need to thrive.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our NDIS Plan Management team as a Data Entry Clerk. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in accurately inputting and managing data related to NDIS plans, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our plan management services. Experience in a finance position or administration position would be viewed favourably.
Responsibilities:
Verify and check invoices for compliance and processing. Help resolve provider payment or service disputes. Assist participants and/or their representatives in understanding NDIS plan budgets and categories. Accurately input and manage data related to NDIS plans into our database system. Ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Review and verify data for inconsistencies or errors and make necessary corrections. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of tasks. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information in accordance with company policies and NDIS guidelines. Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed. Requirements:
Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably in an administration or disability services environment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks. Proficiency in using computer software and database systems for data entry and management. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of the NDIS and disability services sector is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour.
