Biostatistician - Joint Opportunity with University of Canberra
Full-time PermanentUC and CHS have partnered to enhance collaboration across both of our organisations and are seeking experienced Biostatisticians who are passionate about data science, health research and making a difference, to join our innovative team at the intersection of healthcare and academia.
We will be offering the successful candidates the chance to work with leading researchers and clinicians from both organizations in a collaboration aimed to undertake impactful research that directly improves patient outcomes.
Reporting to the Director, Research Operations and Clinical Trials, and the Associate Dean, Research and Innovation, Faculty of Health, the Biostatisticians will provide high quality research design and statistical supports to CHS Clinician Researchers and UC Faculty of Health at all levels. This will also involve providing education sessions and workshops to build capability as well as enhancing data management, policies, procedures, quality control and reporting systems.
This role will liaise and collaborate closely with CHS academic research lead positions (i.e. Executive Director Research and Academic Partnerships, Academic Clinical Nursing Chairs, Professor of Allied Health, Director Clinical Trials Unit, other medical academic leads), statisticians from other organisations, relevant research offices and research partners.
