Recognised as one of Australia's top 100 innovative companies and awarded the prestigious Australian Good Design Award of the Year, BioScout is positioned to change the future of agriculture.If our global potential excites you and you're ready to create a new crop protection paradigm, this is your role!Your MissionAs a Product Manager at BioScout, you will be responsible for shaping the evolution of our product and deciding on strategic product priorities based on customer insights, technical feasibility, and company goals.You will lead product discovery efforts, working with customers and stakeholders to identify their needs, validate potential solutions, and prioritise features that drive maximum value.You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with customer feedback and strategic goals and that each sprint is geared toward solving high-impact problems. Additionally, you will partner with our marketing team to communicate product value and vision effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive product discovery efforts, using customer insights and data to guide product development, feature prioritisation, and design decisions.Own the product roadmap and continuously refine it based on evolving customer needs, technical capabilities, and business priorities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure cohesive product planning and delivery.Translate customer insights and market trends into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, validate ideas, and test new features, ensuring the product meets their needs and expectations.Coordinate sprint planning and backlog prioritisation to deliver high-quality features on time.Set and track product success metrics, analysing data to make data-driven improvements and guide future development.Support the marketing team by ensuring clear communication of product value propositions, features, and updates.About YouWe seek a self-starter and highly motivated Product Manager who excels at making strategic decisions that directly impact the customer experience with our technology.You are:Passionate about delivering innovative technology to the underserved agriculture market, especially farmers and growers.Driven by the impact of your work on the food system and sustainability.Excited to establish and promote best practices in product management and product discovery.Motivated to join a high-growth startup from the ground floor.Independent, resourceful, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.Committed to knowledge-sharing and team skill development.Authorised to live and work in Australia.Your Experience2+ years of experience managing a digital productSolid understanding of agile methodologies and experience in sprint planning, backlog management, and prioritisation.Experience with product discovery techniques, such as customer interviews, prototyping, and usability testing, is a plus.Bonus PointsNot essential, but highly valued:Experience in agriculture or AgTech.Background in marketing or product marketing.UX/UI design knowledge to contribute to seamless user experiences.Remuneration and PerksFull-Time Salary of $100-120K p.a + superannuationBe a core member of a genuinely innovative startup – you'll work alongside a founding group of driven, passionate scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs!Working From Home flexibility and supportWork from our modern office and workshop in Marrickville with regular team eventsYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a product manager?How many years' experience do you have working in an agile environment?What's your expected annual base salary?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
