This position shall be responsible for the repairs, maintenance, servicing, and inspection activities for BME equipment, commensurate with their skills and experience held within their assigned site/satellite sites. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
Demonstrate the qualification/experience levels detailed in the Health Professional and Medical Salaries (NSW State) Award 2021 for a Class 1 Biomedical Engineer. You should have a Diploma or Graduate/Degree or Post Graduate/Masters in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical and be eligible for respective Engineers Australia (EA) membership.Demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience (commensurate with Class 1) to provide technical support (repairs, maintenance, servicing, problem solving, and inspection activities) under limited supervision in a demanding health environment and current best practice (AMAF/ISO).Demonstrated ability to plan and organise own work within constrained time frames.Ability to rapidly learn and interpret service and operator manuals, together with training information.Employment Type: This is a Full Time Permanent Opportunity.
