About Your Next Opportunity Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has a unique opportunity for a full-time multi-skilled On-Call Scientist to join their laboratory team based in Bundaberg, QLD. This busy laboratory services the Friendly Society Private Hospital as well as the Bundaberg region. Your responsibilities in this role will include routine Haematology, Coagulation, Biochemistry, and Blood Banking. Rostered shifts are between 6:00 am to 10.30 pm Monday to Friday and 7.00 am to 09:00 pm Saturday and Sunday, plus participation in an after-hours on-call roster. To be successful in this position, you will have appropriate qualifications in Medical Laboratory Science. You will also require high attention to detail, computer skills, and an enthusiastic, flexible approach to your work. The role will require the successful applicant to be multi-skilled and available to work on a seven-day rostered basis, including on-call after hours. Experience in haematology, biochemistry and blood banking would be an advantage. Please note: Graduates are encouraged to apply! With well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, you'll be capable of working autonomously and as part of a team. Enthusiastic and flexible, you will be able to work well under pressure and prioritise your workload, working accurately and efficiently.
