Our Biochar Machine Supervisor will maintain biochar production and quality by ensuring the year-round operation of our biochar manufacturing equipment and supervising machine operators to ensure the highest-quality biochar is being produced for customers.This unique opportunity, located in Carwarp, Victoria, 30 minutes outside of Mildura, will see you working year-round on a rotating roster of day and night shifts, 7 days on, 3 days off, and 7 nights on, 4 nights off.Key Responsibilities: Operate high-temperature biochar units, up to 550 degrees Celsius, by performing operations and routine maintenance of biochar production systems.
Inspect, diagnose, and perform major and minor repair work on all equipment.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Maintain equipment parts and supply inventories.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Key Skills: Minimum three (3) years of relevant operational experience and experience operating high-temperature machinery.
Proven ability to operate mechanical equipment.
Knowledge of quality control procedures.
Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office and other PC-related applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
'Duty of care' mindset and commitment to work safety.
Comfortability with basic mathematical calculations.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
Current unencumbered driver's license.
