The opportunity for a capable ArchiCAD BIM Manager has arrived! Working on a high-profile public building with a 5-6 year pipeline of work, you'll bring your extensive BIM experience to lead the BIM team and deal with any problems that arise. Bring your technical knowledge and 'know-how' to the group, along with an eye for detail. In return, work alongside experts on a stand-out project for your portfolio!

Key Responsibilities:Work closely with the BIM team to assist with standards and general best practicesCoordinate and review all 3D models and model-related tasks with consultants and contractorsPerform regular ArchiCAD model review and maintenance (audit)Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks or similarManagement of and adherence to the Quality Assurance standards of the officeEnsure clear and effective communication to all staff, clients and consultantsAssist in the training and tutoring of all staff, including Principals and Associates, on BIM systemsManage BIM processes, libraries, content, software and componentsIdentify project related BIM issues that arise, and resolve in-line with the rational of the officeAssist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of BIM applications in conjunction with the BIM Co-ordinatorsPrepare BIM / architectural documentation and details as briefedEnsure development of BIM drawings and the teams' work is complete and delivered within set and agreed programmes and qualityLink BIM to project construction administration phase for transmittals, construction models, shop drawings andschedules Skills & Experience:Degree qualification in Architecture & BIM qualification/experienceRegistered by ARBV (desirable)Minimum 5 years post grad experienceExcellent understanding of BCA and relevant construction based Australian Standards and Building CodesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExtensive experience using BIM software to prepare plans / documentation – ArchiCADExperience with clash detection and model checking software i.e NavisworksHigh-level ArchiCAD proficiency Benefits & Culture:Regular social and culture activitiesAgile and flexible working arrangementsGrowing team in MelbourneCBD location Bio: Jenna gained her Bachelor of Interior Architecture and Design at Nottingham Trent University and worked as a senior designer on retail, commercial and mixed-use projects for six years. In late 2016 she made the move to Australia to help establish the practice on the ground in Melbourne undertaking a business development role, familiarising herself with local developers, architectural practices and the Australian architecture & design landscape. Jenna has an expansive understanding of the industry domestically and abroad - she joined Bespoke Careers in 2017 on the architecture team.
