The opportunity for a capable ArchiCAD BIM Manager has arrived! Working on a high-profile public building with a 5-6 year pipeline of work, you'll bring your extensive BIM experience to lead the BIM team and deal with any problems that arise. Bring your technical knowledge and 'know-how' to the group, along with an eye for detail. In return, work alongside experts on a stand-out project for your portfolio!

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the BIM team to assist with standards and general best practices
• Coordinate and review all 3D models and model-related tasks with consultants and contractors
• Perform regular ArchiCAD model review and maintenance (audit)
• Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks or similar
• Management of and adherence to the Quality Assurance standards of the office
• Ensure clear and effective communication to all staff, clients and consultants
• Assist in the training and tutoring of all staff, including Principals and Associates, on BIM systems
• Manage BIM processes, libraries, content, software and components
• Identify project related BIM issues that arise, and resolve in-line with the rational of the office
• Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of BIM applications in conjunction with the BIM Co-ordinators
• Prepare BIM / architectural documentation and details as briefed
• Ensure development of BIM drawings and the teams' work is complete and delivered within set and agreed programmes and quality
• Link BIM to project construction administration phase for transmittals, construction models, shop drawings and
schedules

Skills & Experience:

• Degree qualification in Architecture & BIM qualification/experience
• Registered by ARBV (desirable)
• Minimum 5 years post grad experience
• Excellent understanding of BCA and relevant construction based Australian Standards and Building Codes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Extensive experience using BIM software to prepare plans / documentation – ArchiCAD
• Experience with clash detection and model checking software i.e Navisworks
• High-level ArchiCAD proficiency
