As the Billing Specialist, you'll play a key role in our operations team.
Your main focus will be on helping customers resolve any issues preventing them from making payments.
You'll be the go-to person for handling complex billing issues and discrepancies, managing a ticketing queue.
Your proficiency in NetSuite, Oracle and Salesforce will be crucial for offering strategic advice to improve billing processes and boost efficiency.
Main Responsibilities: Billing Operations • Manage a queue of high-level billing issues, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
• Maintain communication with partners, understanding their needs, and providing resolutions to support their objectives.
• Collaborate with various teams to address complex billing discrepancies and offer accounting insights.
• Perform account reconciliation and/or cash/credit reconciliation from contracts to invoices, ensuring clarity on the status of each transaction.
Revenue Recognition: • Oversee revenue recognition policies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company guidelines.
• Conduct thorough analyses to ensure accurate revenue accounting across different business scenarios.
NetSuite and Salesforce Expertise: • Utilise deep knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce to reconcile quotes, contracts, and subscriptions in Salesforce with bills in NetSuite.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Support, and Finance teams to gather information and resolve billing discrepancies.

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Billing and /or Sr. Revenue Specialist with a focus on accounting principles.
• In-depth knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce platforms a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of EXCEL (advanced) Preferred Skills: • NetSuite and Salesforce certification is highly desirable.
• Experience in implementing strategic accounting initiatives for process improvement.
• Familiarity with other accounting tools and software.
• Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards in various business contexts.
• Detail oriented.
