About the role We're seeking a Billing Officer who will maintain and validate revenue systems to maximise company revenue, reduce leakage, and ensure accurate billing.
You'll join an innovative team who's focused on process validation, data issue resolution, and improving revenue management.

This role can be based in any one of our main offices in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.
Day-to-day, you will: Manage and execute queries to ensure accurate billing and rectify issues, including payment reconciliations and account clean-ups.Ensure data integrity and support other business units by identifying and resolving revenue and billing issues.Support banking and payments functions, maintain reconciliations, and handle file uploads and refunds.Assist in processing foreign toll road cases and ensure they are actioned within TCM guidelines.Support and participate in projects affecting revenue or billing. This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Experience working in a dynamic, high-volume computerised work environment.Intermediate skill proficiency with computer applications such as MS Access, SQL Server, Visual Basic and MS Excel (including macros, modules, queries and scripts).Proven ability to work autonomously and solve customer billing issues efficiently, with strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of billing systems.High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.Proven experience with data management, extraction and manipulation.Ability to maintain privacy and confidential information and you'll be required to satisfy a federal criminal history police check in line with Transurban requirements.
