This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
Process all billing requests ensuring these are completed accurately and sent out to the customer within agreed timeframes.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on billing matters, ensuring the correct and proper documentation and approvals to invoice or credit are provided and recorded.
Management of shared inboxes and work within billing targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
Maintain accurate and up to date contracts, ensuring that new rates and increases are added on time.
Become a point of contact for any technical issues related to billing and customer master data.
Participate in activities including performance reviews and development plans, training and team activities as scheduled.
You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
Desirable experience within the Electricity / Utilities sector is preferable.
High level attention to detail is essential to ensure the accuracy of our customer billing information.
Strong computer skills including SAP, Excel and other Microsoft Office apps.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
Ability to prioritise competing workloads, and manage high work volumes to strict deadlines.
Customer service experience, both internal and external.
Experience working within complex organisational structures.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
A real place to belong.
We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
Engage and connect through our social club, family day, wide range of events or by joining one of our Employee Network Groups.
We believe in more than just competitive pay.
Here's what sets us apart:
Flexibility: whether this is hybrid work, flexible hours, or part time arrangements, we'll work with you to help balance work and life.
Leave: more than typical personal leave and a generous 14 weeks of paid parental leave, with no minimum service.
Community giving: a paid day to volunteer with our social impact partner, Foodbank, or for a cause that matters to you.
Perks: we offer all the other perks you've come to expect like purchased leave, income protection insurance, novated leasing, corporate discounts, private health cover discounts and more.
As an industry in transformation, we're excited by the possibilities ahead.
