Health centres are located at Barunga, Manyallaluk, Wugularr, Bulman, Mataranka, Jilkminggan, Minyerri, Ngukurr and Urapunga.What's in it for you?Competitive salary $70,230 - $90,570 dependent on experienceRelocation assistance available through NT PHNEligible for professional development grants through NT PHNWhat's the role?Provide a visiting service to all 9 Sunrise communities and provide support, advice, and education to the Biginini Family Program (MECSH) Nurses providing the Maternal Early Childhood Sustained Home-visiting Program (MECSH Program).Provide culturally safe psychosocial support for the families enrolled in the Biginini Family Program, such as brief counselling interventions, and instrumental support, advocating for and assisting families with housing, service access and financial issues in accordance with the MECSH program guidelines.Demonstrate a high standard of professional practice and leadership that incorporates best practice, education, and research.The role is part of the Child and Family Health Team including Child Health Coordinator/s, MECSH Nurses, MECSH Cultural Advisor/s, Women's Health Educator.Is this the right role for you?Degree in Social Work and demonstrated 2 years remote health experienceCurrent membership with Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communities – previous experience working within remote or regional groups.Current Driver's License, WWCC, National Police Check, First Aid CertificateWant to find out more about this opportunity?
