This is an exciting new opportunity to showcase the exceptional capability of Consunet, and to assist with the growth of the business.Consunet requires an experienced Bid Writer to support the development of documents across Consunet business areas and to work closely with stakeholders to determine the clearest, and most logical way, to present technical content for the greatest reader comprehension.The Bid Writer will support the Consunet bid team establishing and editing documents for complex tender responses. This requires the ongoing maturation of response templates, the analysis of tender requirements and supporting the development of document content to ensure compliance and ultimately supporting the completion of quality proposals for our customers.The Bid Writer will also assist the marketing team with support through the creation of content for marketing purposes. This includes content for corporate plans, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of the Bid process including the development of response templates and the editing of comprehensive and tailored written responses.Interpret verbal and written technical content to guide drafting responses in a way that is appropriate for the intended audience.Source and compile non-technical content including company information, CVs, and any other certification requirements.Assist in the creation of graphic elements for bid responses and for wider corporate marketing.Foster relationships with our Bid Team by responding to comments, messages, and engaging with stakeholders.Review and edit proposal documents to ensure readability, consistency, grammar and spelling is of the highest standard.Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.Maintain awareness of developing practices and their applicability to this role.Identify and report issues and risks associated with own work.Contribute to the continuous improvement of organisational methods, processes, reporting, procedures and standards.Plan, schedule and monitor work to meet time and quality targets.About YouTertiary qualifications in journalism, writing, marketing, business or relevant disciplines.Minimum 3 years' experience in technical bid writing or equivalent experience.Substantial experience in MS Office, particularly MS Word.
