Consunet requires an experienced Bid Writer to support the development of documents across Consunet business areas and to work closely with stakeholders to determine the clearest, and most logical way, to present technical content for the greatest reader comprehension.
The role will also play a pivotal role in the development of Consunet's tender responses.
Supporting the bid team establishing and editing documents for complex tender responses. This requires analysis of tender requirements, supporting the development of content, to ensure bid coherence and compliance ultimately supporting the completion and on-time submission of quality proposals for our customers.
In addition, the role involves assisting the marketing team with support through the creation of content for marketing purposes and includes corporate plans, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
Bid Team Support Implementation of the bid strategy throughout the bid process including the development of content, win themes, bid presentation and the development of comprehensive and tailored written responses Interpret verbal and written technical content to guide drafting responses in a way that is appropriate for the intended audience Source and compile non-technical content including company information, CVs, and any other certification requirements Foster relationships with our Bid Team by responding to comments, messages, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders Review proposal documents including editing, grammar and spelling prior to submission. Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant Maintain awareness of developing practices and their applicability to your role Identify and report issues and risks associated with own work Contribute to the continuous improvement of organisational methods, processes, reporting, procedures and standards Assist in the creation of graphic elements for bid responses Plan, schedule and monitor work to meet time and quality targets About You: Minimum 3 years' experience in technical bid writing Communicate information clearly, concisely and accurately Work cooperatively and collaboratively An eye for detail, with a commitment to delivering exceptional content for clients. Able to manage your own workload, initiative, enthusiasm, and a great work ethic Able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of work A creative and strategic thinker, high empathy and excellent people skills with excellent writing skills Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of marketing and communications, particularly writing, email marketing, social media, and graphic design Extensive experience in MS Office and the Adobe Suite Tertiary qualifications in journalism, writing, marketing, business or relevant disciplines Security Clearance: Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and be eligible to hold and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
