Projected Resources has teamed up with a respected tier 3 builder renowned for its strong ties to the land, country and First Nations people. With a track record spanning 15 years, they boast robust relationships with recurring clients from both the government and private sectors. Their project portfolio spans from $5m to $30m, showcasing their ability to tackle and successfully complete construction, fit-out or refurbishment projects as either a principal or managing contractor.

Projected Resources is currently recruiting a Bid Manager adept at consolidating data and information and willing to take a hands-on approach when necessary.

We are open to candidates with backgrounds in either marketing or technical
fields, with a primary emphasis on leadership within the bid team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee bids and tenders to consistently maintain high standards. This involves applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret and respond to bid requirements effectively. Additionally, fostering strong relationships with the pre-contract team is crucial to ensure alignment in identifying and pursuing opportunities.

The successful candidate will be tasked with devising winning bid strategies that align with our operational objectives and profit margins. This will involve extensive research, proposal drafting, and meticulous review to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Collaboration with project teams and client organisations will be essential for gathering the necessary information and addressing technical and commercial risks throughout the bid process. The Bid Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the bid team to ensure internal deadlines are met and submissions are timely.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for innovation.

Ideally, a formal tertiary education in Building Construction combined with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, is required. Demonstrated experience in leading successful bids, managing teams, and negotiating contracts is highly valued.
