As the Project & Contracts Manager you will oversee the development of multi-million dollar proposals, managing the bid plans and stakeholder strategy with both new and existing clients.DailyDuties:Working with other project team members, assisting with project plans, timelines, and budgetsFull accountability for pipeline proposals as well as identifying and creating tenders & proposals from existing clients and within the wider engineering, defense, and construction marketsFacilitating the end-to-end tender and Bid processes, which will include collaborating and responding to clientsReporting to the GM, this position will involve some travel but 95% of the time will be office-basedDeveloping an in-depth understanding of your products by leveraging your engineering background and using knowledge to increase the effectiveness of business strategiesFacilitating new business opportunities by preparing high-quality tenders and expressions of interest (EOIs) for potential projectsBuilding strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders - so that you can then present reports to senior management withWork with the finance team to prepare pre-contract Bid costs and forecastsAttend network eventsUse of Accounting Software, MS ProjectRequirements & What's on Offer:At least 1-2 years of experience as a Project Co-ordinator, Bid Management, or EstimatingIdeally from a Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Commercial Construction background, or with a trade background who has gained more commercial experience along the wayStrong Planning, Bid, and Tender coordination experienceDepending on experience up to $125k base + Super, so great package + bonus - negotiableIf you would like to discuss the role further, please feel free to send your CV via this link and an NDR Consultant will be in contact or for other opportunities check out www.nextdayrecruitment.com.auNDR is a leading Manufacturing recruitment specialist in the Australian and Asia Pacific market.Your People For Tomorrow.
